Difference of uses of stainless steel flanges, steel flanges and carbon flanges

Stainless Steel Flanges:-
Flanges  sizes, materials  and open dimensions vary depending upon various applications used for designing the flange application. They come in various ranges with OD tube and nominal bore pipe in grades, ranging  from ASA 150LB raised face, weld neck, blind and slip on flanges available in as per client’s  specification. Being used for marines, pumping, commercial, domestic, chemical, and irrigation purposes, they  have good resistance when exposed to a range of corrosive environment and media and  regarded as marine grade stainless steel flanges. Stainless steel comes in  large valves  and requires a 316 certificate for manufacturing of flanges.

Steel Flanges:-
Steel flanges offer a way to secure metal pipe and prevent leakage and other damage. It is essential to choose the right metal flange and fittings depending upon what type of substances flow through the piping system. The stainless steel flanges are designed to offer extra support and safety in certain high pressure areas in residential, commercial, and industrial piping systems. Steel flanges are disc shaped and are bolted or welded in place.

Carbon Steel Flanges:-
Carbon steel flanges are used to connect piping system and are available in various styles and grades as per the requirements of the clients for various services. Carbon steel flanges are connected with stud, bolts, machine bolts by threading or welding the flange in a pipe. Fittings and flanges are idle solution for most applications across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Carbon steel flanges come in various styles of pressure ratings and schedule.
